Getting Started

Open Byrsa and sign in. To arrange access for a new workspace, contact [email protected].

1. Connect your AWS environment

Open Cloud Accounts, choose Add Account, and follow the setup dialog. You can connect an individual AWS account or use the organization setup.

Ask your AWS administrator to help with the required permissions. The AWS connection guide walks you through the process.

2. Explore your resources

Once data has been collected, open Inventory to find your accounts and resources. Use the account, region, and service filters to focus on the environment you want to review.

If no resources appear, ask your administrator to check the connection and collection status. A new connection may need time to populate.

3. Review security issues

Start with Dashboard for an overview, then choose:

  • Misconfigurations to review configuration issues.
  • Runtime Protection to investigate CVEs and affected workloads.
  • Attack Paths to explore risks around an EC2 instance and connected resources.

Select an issue to read its details and inspect the affected resource.

4. Organize follow-up work

Create a Task, set its priority, and assign it to the right person. Connect Jira if your team tracks work there. Use Alerts to notify the team about issues that match your rules.

After changes have been collected, return to the finding to review its status. The dashboard's Resolution view helps you follow progress.

5. Bring your team in

Add coworkers through User Management, and use Reports to download a PDF summary for stakeholders.
